Level I is for all alarm company employees that "touch the customer."  Outside sales, installers, and service technicians must all have Level I within six (6) months of being registered with the Arkansas State Police.  Level I is an introduction to our industry.  Personnel not required to pass Level I include central station operators, inside sales and distributor employees.

Once this course is completed an exam must be scheduled with the ASAA.

Exams are given at the same locations that host the classroom training.  Exams may be given throughout the month and are scheduled at the convenience of the student and instructor.

 
 
 
 
 
 
Fire Installation & Wiring Codes focuses on the 2002 edition of NFPA 72 (referenced by the Arkansas Fire Prevention Code). This course satisfied one of the requirements for Managers.  It is also a great course for all technicians that deal with fire alarm systems, but is NOT required for them.

Once this course is completed an exam must be scheduled with the ASAA.
 
 
 
 
 
Level I

Electronics is a course designed for technicians and managers.  It deals with electronic systems in our industry with an emphasis on fire alarm systems.  This course satisfies one of the requirements for Managers.  It is also a great course for all technicians, but NOT required for them.
